If PLA fiber is buried together with other organic waste, it can decompose within a few months, completely breaking down into CO2 and H2O. When burned, it does not release toxic gases or cause pollution. If it enters the soil, wastewater, rivers, or oceans, it can also fully decompose into CO2 and water within 3-6 months through the action of bacteria and other microorganisms. It is a sustainable and eco-friendly fiber.
